(↑ updated Oct. 6) Here's the basic checklist we put together last class. Intelligent Listening is not difficult to do, but, as with most things, the more you practice it the better you will get. If you're a Windows user and would like to install ACID on your computer, check the Free Software page. For today, we'll take a look at our syllabus, and talk about Intelligent Listening, a way to listen to music that allows us to better study music by focusing on what we're hearing and not what we're feeling. (This isn't meant as a substitute for your normal way to listen to music. After all, who would want to listen to music and not feel it.)

During our lab session we'll go to the tech lab, complete the online questionnaire and look at some of the software we'll be working with during the semester.

In class we did an overview of the course, listing some of the areas we'll be covering during the semester. Most of what we discussed will be found in the syllabus.

Seeing this came up in class - here's some bus schedule information, for on and off campus buses.
