Mar 2 — According to the syllabus, the first Intelligent Listening Checklist Assignment is due today. As discussed in class, let's wait until we return from break to complete and submit the assignment.
Mar 16 — As mentioned last class, the first Intelligent Listening Checklist Assignment is due Wednesday, March 23. There will be no late penality if submitted by March 28.

- A Quick Audio Lesson on Staccato and Legato
A review of the two articulation terms that are not mentioned in the textbook - Staccato and Legato - terms discussed in the first month of our course. The musical examples were played on a synthesizer set to a piano sound. The notes in the legato example are not as "smooth and connected" as they would be if played on a real piano. This audio lesson was originally posted on the Web as part of the review material for Quiz #2.
