Anti-aliased text. Note letter edges are much smoother
Two reasons for creating anti-aliased text in your photo/image editor: 1. Avoid jagged edges with large size fonts. 2. Use fonts that may not be available on viewer's computer.
Note: anti-aliasing can also be applied to images.
