The course is divided into six major parts, altogether containing twenty sections -- more or less one for every chapter of the textbook that we cover. We will attempt to do just under one section per lecture.

Homework (25% of grade): Each section has problems assigned; homework assignments are submitted online.

Exams (75% of grade): There will be three exams of equal weight. They will be non-cumulative unless I say otherwise in class.

Attendance: Three absences are allowed. More than ten minutes late for a class will count as an absence. For four absences you will be penalized a grade, unless there is a medical certificate justifying your absence.
