Problem Sets (25% of grade): The course is divided into nine topics, of which we will probably cover about eight.  There will be one homework assignment for every topic, which is submitted online.  Due dates for each assignment will be listed on the course web site.

Exams (75% of grade): There will be two exams of equal weight.  They will be non-cumulative unless I say otherwise in class.

Attendance: Three absences are allowed.  More than ten minutes late for a class will count as an absence.  For four absences you will be penalized a grade, unless there is a medical certificate justifying your absence.
