Now it's time to export your audio clip. Open the File Menu and choose Export as WAV (or AIFF, depending on platform and preferences.) In the Save As dialog box, name your file, navigate to the folder where you want to save your file and click Save. Be careful not to overwrite the original file you made from the CD by giving the clip file a different name. Save the original recording until you're sure you don't need it anymore. Note: To use the Export as MP3 option in the File Menu, you have to install an encoder file.
