ACID XPress Checklist
Here is a list of basic ACID XPress skills you should know:
- Run ACID XPress
- Open project or create new project
- Locate loops folder and navigate around it
- Set project tempo and key
- Preview loops and stop preview playback
- Create new loop track
- Enable snapping and set snap grid resolution
- Draw loop
- Change loop length
- Change loop starting position
- Move loop
- Use the play/stop/rewind buttons (also use the spacebar to start/stop playback)
- Change the playback starting position (i.e. move the cursor)
- Set volume for a track
- Set pan for a track
- Solo a track
- Mute a track
- Set project volume to avoid distortion and clipping
- Insert a Marker
- Insert a Tempo/Key Change
- Raise or lower the pitch of a clip
- Save project file as a normal project or an acid-zip file
- Render project as an audio file
