Now it's time to fine-tune the edits. Click at the very beginning of the track (0.0s.) or choose Select All, and listen to the track. Use the Zoom and Select Tools to zoom in and cut the sections you don't want from the beginning and end of the clip. Keep listening to the clip as you edit. If you don't like a change, Edit > Undo. (Remember, once you make a selection only the selected area will be heard when you click the Play button. Choose Select All in the Edit menu if you have trouble hearing the entire clip.) If you can't get the beginning and/or end "perfect", the next step(s) will solve any problems.
